Qiren Wan 

Born in 1940 in Hubei, Wuhan. He came from a family of intellectuals. He went into the arts high school of Academy to study painting in 1950s, graduated from Hubei institute of Fine Arts 1960s, and then taught in Chengdu Five-seven school in 1970s, was a professional painter in 1980s. He is engaged in oil painting creation and reserch for more than 40 years.He published monographs,18 essays in the Art Panorama, Art Guide, Sichuan Fine Arts Communication, Chengdu Fine Art, Art in China, Chengdu Art and other professional art journals.He is the author of this book:Sketch, Color, Creation.His oil painting works participated in the art auction and went into America, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore.He now lives in the Sansheng Linghai Artist Village of Chengdu.He is Chengdu academy professional painter, art educator, an artist of national level, winner of Parknshop calligrapher title of the National Academy of painting and calligraphy exhibition. Currently, he is the chairman of Sichuan Art Academy, vice-chairman of the Development of Modern Art Association in Sichuan Province,chairman of Painting and Calligraphy Art Promotion Committee, diretor of Intellectuals Association Executive and art group in Sichuan, diretor of Oil Painting Committee of Arts and Crafts Association in Sichuan, expert panel of Clothing Contest (first, two) in Sichuan Province.
